1. Who we are
Only Ads is the responsible party for personal information you provide when using onlyads.co.za. We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
2. What we collect
- Account: name, handle, email, verified SA phone number, location.
- Listings: text, images, category, price, contact preferences.
- Usage: pages viewed, clicks, device and browser info.
- Payments: handled by PayFast — we do not store card details.
3. How we use it
- Operate the marketplace: show your ads, deliver messages, verify your phone.
- Improve the service and prevent abuse or fraud.
- Send transactional emails (verification, listing updates, receipts).
4. Sharing
We share the minimum data needed with processors: Lovable Cloud (hosting), PayFast (payments), Twilio (SMS verification), and our email provider. We do not sell your data.
5. Your rights
Under POPIA you may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information. Email requests to privacy@onlyads.co.za.
6. Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and up to 12 months after deletion for legal, safety and audit reasons.
